FOREST SCHOOLS CAMPS

Major Oak Forest Schools Holiday Camps are a 2-day experience which focuses on letting children explore the wonders of nature.

On Day 1, a packed lunch is required, as our explorers will find a suitable place to set up camp and eat their picnic.

Once camp is set, we get to work. There are a number of missions that need completing on a Forest Schools Holiday Camp, these include:

• Using tools to make photo frames
• Making tools
• Collecting wood for the camp fire
• Safely lighting, managing and extinguishing the camp fire
• Building bug houses
• Building dens
• Scavenger hunts
• Nature Art

In day 2, lunch is provided as we cook and eat together around the camp fire.

Our Forest Schools camps take place outdoors ALL DAY - Please ensure your child has suitable clothing with them for ALL weather conditions!
